HELLO

It's fair to say that the world has been rather intense over the last 5 years. Everything from a global pandemic to constant political turmoil to the cost of living crisis, war and more.

With such high levels of instability, it's no wonder that people are struggling to cope with everyday living. Anxiety, depression and

overwhelm are more prevalent in our nervous system than ever.

MY STORY

As we emerged from the global pandemic in early 2022, I was diagnosed with an incredibly rare brain cyst causing obstructive hydrocephalus, a build up of fluid on the brain that can be life threatening.

I underwent emergency surgery to remove the cyst.

Recovery, however, was not quick. The trauma left my nervous system deeply disregulated, and I experienced chronic fatigue for a long time afterwards.

Breathwork became more than a practice, it became a lifeline.

I used simple techniques while lying in MRI and CT scanners, to keep my nervous system calm. I also used an active, dynamic Breathwork technique known as Conscious Connected Breathwork to relieve the major emotional blockages. â€‹And over time, something shifted.

I no longer felt trapped in freeze or constantly cycling through fight or flight. I felt calmer. Less anxious. More resilient. Life is still life, it brings with it grief, stress, change, and challenge. But I now have the tools to handle those moments and bring my body back into balance.

This is the work I now share.

Conscious Connected Breathwork is a powerful, rhythmic breathing practice designed to help shift stagnant energy, support a more flexible and regulated nervous system, and encourage healthier breathing patterns.

This practice works directly with the body and is somatic in nature. Many of us carry stress and unprocessed emotion physically. Through connected breathing, we create the conditions for a body-based release, allowing stored tension to move and integrate.

During a session, emotions may rise to the surface, such as joy, bliss, grief, sadness, or anger. You may experience physical sensations like tingling, warmth, or gentle shaking. Some people also report visual imagery, colours, insights, or moments of clarity.

Every session is different. Your experience will unfold in the way your body and nervous system are ready for.

Conscious Connected Breathwork can support overall wellbeing and nervous system regulation. However, it is not suitable for everyone. If you have any medical conditions, general questions or are unsure whether this practice is right for you, please reach out before booking.

TESTIMONIALS

The breathwork was truly unique, it allowed me to access memories and emotions, some going back 45 years or more. The liberation through

tears, crying, and shaking was profoundly healing, I would highly recommend.

- ALEX

Such a lovely, powerful session with Ruth! I came out with a clearer vision, feeling electric and ready for action. She is a beautiful soul. Very easy to talk to.

I would highly recommend having a session with her. She literally breathes this.

- VICKY

Ruth has a real gift for holding space, she is sincere and authentic. Her facilitation was professional and empathetic at all times and I felt secure from

the moment the session started, thank you - SABRINA

Ruth gave me permission to finally voice what I actually wanted. I have started

a new job as a digital content editor and have returned to world in which I will

be paid to write. If you are at a crossroad or even if you aren't, you won't regret it. - GIGI
